One of my favorite families.. (yes... 'nother dark dreary day..)

November 21, 2008 toddlers

|
| This is one of my very dear, and favorite families. I've been photographing this little munchkin since she was two. We have had their session at the same time every year, and usually it is about... oh.. say 90 degree's outside, this was our first cold day. For this session, I traveled out to their 2nd home out of state, and it was a great Fall setting... |

| ..and of course I had to involve myself in their pictures.... now you see how I perch in corners to get that shot! |

yes... I know I am a nerd...and no I didn't give them that one! haha!
Until Next Time..

Bright eyed baby on a dark dreary day in Chicago

November 19, 2008 babies

We went through a few weeks of dark, dreary, rainy days here in Chicago. This is the time of year for that... so it was great to have Baby "I" and her family to photograph to brighten up the day!
Baby "I" was a gorgeous baby that I photographed recently. This was her very first time being photographed....but she handled it like a pro. I see many, many more photo shoots in her future! Her gorgeous eyes had me mesmerized a few times.
...before the sporadic emails begin from photographers... these big, gorgeous, bright blue eyes were created by her parents. They weren't created after a photo shoot with me.
This is a super sneak peek for her mom! |

Watching them grow... (I tend to do this a lot eh?)

The last time I photographed "T" he was just 12 months old. He was such an adorable little thing! Fast forward to this session...
I was so happy when "T's" mom contacted me for another session.. I couldn't wait to see how much he has grown. He is now almost FOUR! He was a cutie then, but now.. he is growing up to be quite the handsome young man! When they arrived, his mom said because "T" is autistic, that I might not get much eye contact from him.
But you know what? At the tender age of 4yrs.. I think "T" has already figured out he is quite the good looking kid, so he made sure to give me plenty of eye contact, and beautiful smiles... |

The one thing I learned about "T" now that he is older...is that his parents are the apple of his eye...as he is theirs...
