I've been photographing 5YO "M" each year since he was 6 months old. Its always so much fun to watch them grow up. Some of you might recognize him from my Rangefinder article!
On a different note...
I wanted to thank you all for the huge response to my announcement on doing a few more workshops. Things have been extremely busy here, and I haven't had a chance to respond to everyone. Rest assured you will all hear from me in the next few days when we are able to put some dates together.

....I CAN'T WAIT!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I've been asked back to be a Platform speaker again. I LOVE Vegas, and I like WPPI, so I can't wait to come back! At the last WPPI... I know the room was packed beyond capacity about an hr or so before it began, and as a result, they had to make people leave. I am pretty sure that won't happen the next time because they said there were some rooms that held 1200ppl. I know that takes away a bit from the intimacy of a small group....I could have choosen to have a MasterClass...which limits the number of attendee's, but I didn't want people to have to pay extra. So I just said a Platform would be fine...If the room is too large, we will make it work!
What will I discuss?
How to master natural light! I will have example prints...with pictures of my set ups.....meaning what it looks like before I snap the shutter. I am also *hoping* to have some video to share as well. I won't make promises on the latter..but we are working on that part.
So I will have several big prints to show those who attend.... then I will show you first hand...the conditions that I was in to create such shot...and how you can incorporate certain techniques in your own work to achieve the desired results you are hoping for!
On a different note.....
I have received a TON of requests regarding workshops. Based on the increased inquiries.. I am thinking of having...maybe just 1-2 workshops this year. If you're interested, please send me an email.
On a different, different note....

| Have you all ever wondered how hands on I am? (...well it was raining...and the curly hair went south..as you can see!) The babies were my 2nd appointment that day, so I was already in baby mode when I arrived. |
This family is a regular client. I photographed "B" when she was just a sitter...not a crawler. (love watching them grow!) The last time I saw her was last year during the holidays. Her mom told me she was expecting twins, and I HAD to tell her she must do newborn pictures..and to the mom's credit..she was on it eventhough she had a baby at home, and was expecting two more!
Well when I arrived, the look on "B's" face was like... "ummm.. Audrey...things have changed around here...can you believe Mommy and Daddy came home with TWO babies!?" |

...which will be tomorrow because I was at a clients today....for a newborn appointment (..are you surprised!?), and the Grandmother was there and she mentioned she checked my blog faithfully and she was so frustrated that I didn't update regularly....
So she has spoken, and I must oblige...because I have always been taught to listen to my elders! |
