Before I share this family shoot, I wanted to update my photographer followers on some news..
I teamed up with Jodi Friedman of MCP Action to answer your photographer related questions in a text chat with Jodi Friedman from MCP Actions on Jan. 25th at Noon Eastern. To join you will go to the MCP Experience Tab/MCP LIVE area:http://tinyurl.com/aw-live-chat . Post your questions here:http://rawinkprinting.com.au/ . Hope to see you all there!!
For my Australia followers, there are still some spaces left in the workshop in Sydney this May! Head over to http://rawinkprinting.com.au for more details!
Lastely, I receive a lot of emails and letters from my workshop attendee's, and I thank you! For those that have been in the studio, you might have seen my wall of thank you notes. I read them often! I recently received another email, and it was such a sweet one, I asked her if I could share it with you all!

I attended your June 2010 workshop. My name is Donna DeRousie of Donna Ryan Photography. At the time I was there I was sick, fat and tired and had just opened a natural light studio and children's clothing boutique 5 minutes from downtown Seattle.
Anyway... things have gone fantastically since YOU helped me get on track and I really appreciate your help with that. Everything you spoke about at the workshop helped me in one way or another but most of all I gained the confidence to cut through the crap of post production and focus on shooting great images with great lighting and authentic expressions - the way I like to.
My store has grown so much since opening that it has moved from being a sideline to paying all my rent, wages and expenses so I know have a high traffic 24/7 gallery to showcase my photog. I have been so busy that I turned down 32 requests for appointments this Holiday season and I have lifted my average sale.
All in all - the point of this dribbling email is to let you know how I am doing and to thank-you for what you have done for my business. I have simplified everything - and concentrate on getting great images that are true to my style. if people like what I do - they come to me. I guess I am empowered now.
Everybody gets something different from a workshop - I thought is was going would help me become more like you as a photographer - but instead I became more like myself.
