The workshop was a BLAST. The ladies inspired me so much. We did some shooting on the first day, and had some great business/marketing talk later that afternoon, and the next day. These ladies are talented, and serious about making their mark in the industry, so watch out! It was great shooting there in full sun. (...yes.. the sun was totally different, and I had to change the way I approached a full sun situation!)

I am going to start showcasing some of the photographers that I am so lucky to meet...2-3 with each blog post. There is SO much talent out there. Here are two ladies that came to my London workshop.

Maz - http://www.lightanddayphoto.com/ She is a photographer from Wales. She is such a sweet, sweet person. It shows in her work.

Olesya - www.uglova.com She is a photographer in Moscow. She doesn't speak much English, but her work needs no words...it speaks volumes all by itself. She is so sweet, and she sat there and soaked everything in. She wants me to come to Moscow for a workshop..so we will see!! Her website is in Russian. Be sure to check out her Underwater Gallery. BREATHTAKING!

Anyways.. check them out! I will post more sites with each post. When I came back, I jumped right back into photo sessions, so I haven't really had a chance to tackle the blog...but I have so much to share!

I still have 4 spots left in the September workshop in Chicago. So if you're interested, just drop me an email. I am also thinking of doing a Business Bootcamp workshop this year. There are so many photography techniques workshops out there and those that know me KNOW I enjoy talking business....and I see so many struggle with that part. As a full time photographer... I am really thinking of doing just a workshop dedicated to helping those who are starting their business...and to those who are at a standstill. I always say... you can have the best pictures out there in the world, but if potential clients don't know who you are.. then what is the point of being in business?

The Photography Parlour

There is some REAL talent in the UK....just fabulous photographers.

For clients... I will be out of the office until 7/5. The next available weekend date is August 1. For my pregnant clients who are due any day, email me when the baby arrives. I will be sporadically checking email while away!

This is the longest I've ever went without a blog update. This will never happen again...regardless of what time zone I might be in. Quite honestly...I have just been exhausted lately, and the blog went to the waist side because I have always said I would never let anyone update the blog for me.

SO.... here is a catch up! ( I apologize to any dial up user's in advance!)

The last time I seen this little girl she was just 2 weeks old. Now she is a year old, and she will be a big sister soon! You will see more of her, and her new sibling in a few weeks!

This is another little one I have photographed since she was a newborn...and she will be a big sister this year too! (...so yeah.. more of her and her new sibling later this year...)

Love this family.... The last time I was in their home it was to photograph little "M" when he was 2 weeks old. We had his last session last October...so it was a pleasant surprise to get the call that "M" has a brand new baby sister...

ok.... that is all for now! I will post more in the next day or so.

I wrapped up my first workshop this year. It was a ***FABOLOUS*** group! I mean fabolous. The pool of talent that came was very inspiring for me! I have had quite a few request for info on any upcoming workshops this year. I am going to do 2 more this year...and that is it. One in September for sure...and maybe one in October. For those that emailed me, I will send the information tomorrow.

For those that are on my London Workshop list.. I will be sending some important updates in the next two days, so please be on the look out for that as it is very important.
